Saadat Keshavjee, CPM®, CMOC®

Saadat Keshavjee, Managing Director of Amhurst, established the firm in the early eighties. Having lived and studied on three continents, the emphasis of his education has been in Institutional, Property and Hospitality Management, Sociology and Urban Studies. He has chosen to specialize in property management, and has provided Amhurst with an edge in successful residential/condominium and compact commercial property management. Saadat has an international reputation for his work in this profession.

Saadat has worked with the development and management of condominiums, shopping centres, retail strip centers, social housing developments, luxury resort properties, industrial warehousing, commercial leasing, condominium conversions and all-suite residential properties.

As an instructor in Real Estate education, Saadat is an instructor at Mount Royal University, Calgary and with IREM in the United States. He has been awarded The Mount Royal University Distinguished teaching award for 2009. He works closely with the Alberta Real Estate Association (AREA), the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC), and The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) of the USA and various Real Estate Management Corporations and Apartment Associations. Saadat instructs courses on Property Management, Condominium Management, Real Estate Specialties and The Residential Tenancies Act to licensing real estate practitioners. He has served as Past National President of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC), the Board of The Institute of Real Estate Management (US), and currently serves on the Board of the Institute of Real Estate Management Foundation.

Saadat has written several seminar courses for the enrichment of the property management industry. He has successfully written a certification course entitled "successful condominium management" for Mount Royal University in Calgary. He has served on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Property Management (JPM) and works with IREM on course development and upgrading on an ongoing basis.

As a community man, Saadat has served on the Board of Alberta Theatre Projects, is a member of Rotary International and works with several local community projects. He is the incoming president of his Rotary Club in Calgary.

Jennifer Luong
Jennifer Luong heads our Client Services and Revenue Property Department and brings a sound customer services ethic to Amhurst. She services all tenant-related concerns and works with special projects in client-related areas. Jennifer continually seeks new approaches to enhance the image, the flow and the operations of her department.

Narmin Keshavjee, B.A. (Marketing)
Narmin Keshavjee heads our Marketing Team. She holds a degree in Planning and Urban studies from the University of Toronto. She enjoys great success in ensuring well-matched rental practices which provide for stability and longevity of tenancy. She has piloted several dynamic marketing initiatives that have enhanced Amhurst’s success in residential marketing and leasing.

John Carson, B.A., LLB
John heads our Condominium Operations Department and comes to Amhurst with a wealth of experience and expertise in matters legal and operations. He teaches the legal course as part of the certification of successful Condominium Managers at Mount Royal University, has been engaged in real estate consulting and legal matters for many years and enjoys condominium management.
